Information about making online and postal payments.

By credit card, debit card or PayPal online

You can now pay for most of our services online.

Visit the Record Office online shop to pay for Quick Search, research service, publications and events.

Please note that we cannot take ‘American Express’ card payments.

You can also pay by card in our Search Room.

By cheque or postal order

You can make payments in GBP by cheque or postal order. Please make cheques payable to ‘Durham County Council‘ and send to the postal address on our contact us page.

When sending payment please remember to quote your order reference and the date of your order.
