Sergeant Robson is sitting on the extreme right of the picture, with a moustache and cap. Sergeant Whan, whom Jimmy refers to in a letter to Robson’s daughter, Stella, in 1908, is seated in the second row, above the ’23’ of 23/04/ 96.
